BUNGUBOX × Eboya Friendship Pen
MAHINA Fountain Pen
Chapter , “Full Moon (HOKU),” is finally here!
To commemorate BUNGUBOX’s 15th anniversary,
we’ve teamed up together for our second collaboration in seven years!
*Eboya has 10 units for sale, including both in-store and online sales. 6 pieces are online sales.
Based on Eboya’s “Nalu” (meaning “wave”),
this fountain pen is part of a trilogy that embodies the mystery of the moon’s phases and their influence on the waves.
New Moon (MUKU)** — The Sign of Beginnings
Half Moon (OLE)** — The Calm of Still Waters
Full Moon (HOKU)** — The Light of Fulfillment
The finials are adorned by three different moons, each handcrafted by Wajima Maki-e artist, Meister Takuya Hino.
We have created a fountain pen that captures the majestic power of nature - the ever-shifting power of the lunar cycle, and the waves (Nalu) of the ocean that dance to its celestial pull.
・Fun of Writting with Nalu
The wavy shape is very good to hold and makes writing easy. The Touch of ebonite is good and it helps easy writing too. Pens are made of our original color ebonite, and the fine finishing is made by hands.
