Based on Eboya's Nalu ("wave" in Hawaiian) fountain pen, this is a three part series that captures the mysterious beauty of the moon’s different phases along with its powerful influence on the ocean.

The finials are adorned by three different moons, each handcrafted by Wajima Maki-e artist, Meister Takuya Hino.
We have created a fountain pen that captures the majestic power of nature - the ever-shifting power of the lunar cycle, and the waves (Nalu) of the ocean that dance to its celestial pull.

In the depths of profound darkness, it is the moment right before light is born. The intricately mingled patterns of the ebonite barrel symbolize the pulse of life stirring within the dark sea and the energy of a story about to begin.
・Half Moon (OLE)** — The Calm of Still Waters
A calm night, as if the moon, half-full, has paused to steady its breath. The barrel’s muted, uniform marble pattern evokes the surface of a still sea, just like a mirror. Enjoy a meditative writing experience, where the supple touch of ebonite and the silence of "nothingness" meet at your fingertips.

A blissful moment, as the full moon, high in the heavens, illuminates every corner of the vast ocean. This piece features a barrel of rich blue gradations, capturing the essence of moonlight piercing the silent sea and a path of light gently unfurling across the waves. The luster of the masterfully polished ebonite radiates a “perfected beauty,” bringing an air of profound elegance to your fingertips.
・Fun of Writting with Nalu
The wavy shape is very good to hold and makes writing easy. The Touch of ebonite is good and it helps easy writing too. Pens are made of our original color ebonite, and the fine finishing is made by hands.
