Fountain pens of Ebonite

Ebonite is made from natural rubber and sulfur. Ebonite is formed by chemical reaction by mixing and heating them.

Touch of ebonite is good to hands, so that you will never get tired for long writing. Pens are made of our original color marbled ebonite, hand made by our craftsman. Thus, each pen has their own texture, never same as others. 

Origin of name

Traditional ONOTO type fountain pens. We named "KYOUKA" from "KYOUKASUIGETSU (鏡花水月) ".  It means "Special things that are difficult to get in a hand, like flower in the mirror and the moon reflected in the water". We named "KYOUKA" by expressing something special on our fountain pens.

Elaborately hand finished

Our fountain pens are made and polished carefully by hand in all processes. With a Japanese traditional lathe "Rokuro", fountain pen is made by polishing carefully by hand.
